This weekend Kelly and Jack had a beautiful intimate ceremony in a tiny historic church called La Vallita located in the heart of the world famous San Antonio Riverwalk. It was an amazing night of laughter, love, and grandma repeatedly squeezing my cheeks! Thank you to Kelly and Jack, their family and friends for making me feel so welcome! Here are a few images from their day.

A close friend of mine, Rodney, recently experienced the greatest moment two people in love can possibly share. The birth of a beautiful and healthy little baby girl. Brook, who believe it or not was named in reference to Rodney’s favorite past time, fishing, will undoubtedly be a true heartbreaker one day. Heck, she already has one man I know wrapped around her perfect, pretty little finger…
Actually, this particular session was my very first attempt at newborn portraiture and even though I feel the images are beautiful I definitely have a new found respect for artists specializing in any kind of child photography! As precious as they are, they just don’t do what you ask no matter how polite you may be! You just hold your breath and hope that the stars are aligned when you trigger that shutter. Obviously, in the end it was a fantastic learning experience and I absolutely can not wait to do it again!
Here’s to you my friend. You are going to be an amazing father. Hook, line, and sinker!

Here are a few from Jennifer’s bridal portraits who’s wedding is to be held at the historic Faust Hotel in New Braunfels. For the record the rumor is that the fourth floor of that particular hotel is extremely haunted…

It was a windy and stormy day filled with failed equipment, excruciating black eyes, achy backs and blistered feet. It was FANTASTIC! I absolutely love weddings. :-)
