If this scene doesn’t tug at your heart on some level, I question if it is actually beating. I love this movie because of this love. I too can quote it line for line. It’s goodness for sure.

NPR’s “This American Life” always offers me inspiration. Just hearing other people’s stories gets me thinking and the wheels in my head start turning.Also, walking around Austin on a beautiful sunny day always offers up a heaping dose of inspiration.

I’ll be honest, when I first watched this movie years ago, I never really “got it”, and o I was a bit annoyed with it and haven’t watched it since. With that said, after watching this little clip, I’m willing to hit up the video store and give it another shot : ) Thanks for sharing!

Such a powerful scene in a very underrated movie. Great choice. A song I just recently started listening to again kind of inspired me. Its called “Last Request” by Paolo Nutini. Love this line in the chorus, “Sure I can accept that we’re going nowhere, But one last time let’s go there” kind of painful yet romantic. Good stuff.
