Black Tie: Casey & Marissa
June 6, 2011A part of me wants to describe in detail the life experience that was Nantucket Island. The salty cool air. The taste of a freshly shucked oyster sliding down my throat. Three chilled shots of a damn good bourbon to keep us warm in the cool crisp nights. The white coat and black ties. Yes, these are the things that on one hand I want to share with you yet at the same time keep the memory a secret to myself as to not dilute its amazingness. I fear that no description could ever really do this wedding justice anyway. Love breeds love and nostalgia will never go out of style. I once read that “To look backward for a while is to refresh the eye, to restore it, and to render it the more fit for its prime function of looking forward.” My gramps married my grandmother in a white coat and black tie and loved her until the day he died at which time he was buried in that same black tie. Here’s to looking back. Here’s to black ties and the gentlemen who wear them in order to find the ladies who will show them how to tie them. Here’s to growing old together and dying the same way…

Just wondering what post production actions you’ve been using or if you have created your own for the set
Much love xxx
